I was served a heaping pile of shit this weekend, as my computer saw fit to BSOD when it restarted after installing an automatic update. I spent a few hours thinking all my old stuff, from art to porn, was erased, but I guess my old profile was saved even after reinstalling Windows, so that was sort of a ray of sunshine.

School is fanfuckingtastic.

I am sick of eating out of cans and boxes. I spent two years enrolled in a culinary course--albeit a shitty, shitty one--and I think it's time to start cooking some real god damned food.

It's like the people who developed X3: Reunion didn't want anyone to understand how to play it.

Absolutely. I would eat every baked good within eyeshot and then some. Nutrition is important to me; if I don't eat right, working out amounts to precisely jack, so I have to stay on top of how many calories I consume and keep tabs on where those calories come from. Needless to say, I don't eat sweets or rich foods, but given the opportunity to do so, guilt free, I would in a heartbeat.

I was at Borders the other day, browsing through the magazine section, and when I glanced over at the newest edition of Play, I was frankly fucking disgusted.

I'm still reeling from hearing that Daria's getting and official DVD release.

I guess Final Fantasy VI is supposed to be good, and I'm debating whether or not to play it. I need someone to verify for me, however, that it's a good game.

Project Runway is totally my new favorite show. Don't look at me like that.

That was the shittiest excuse for a workout I've ever done. Hoping it's just because I was tired, and not because I'm losing interest in this.

I'm playing Ocarina of Time. I can't say I'm fawning over it, but I can understand why it made the splash it did when it was released.

I'd give this a look.

In a nutshell, a Brown student spends a semester at Liberty University--a deeply religious college founded by the late (huzzah) Jerry Falwell--and details his experiences there. I just got finished reading it today, and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Knowing the people on my friends list, I can guarantee some parts will make you very, very angry.



Which is precisely why you should read it.

Edit: As an unrelated aside, I learned a few days ago that someone from my class wound up going here on an athletic scholarship. Wonder how that's working out.
